Rehearsal Dinner Arrangments

This dinner had an oceanside or natural beach theme.

This arrangement was in the grand foyer.

Another view from the Grand Foyer.

A fun low centerpiece with shells in the base of the vase.

Another low centerpiece. I loved the way the bluish hosta leaves blended with the tablecovers.

This arrangement for the head table was so much fun to do! There was a lure floating in the vase with the ferns and greenery.

Another view.

Fresh Flower Designs

I will start posting pictures of some of my fresh flower designs over the next few months. Weddings are starting to crank up so I will be having some new things to post along with some of my favorites from past years.

But first up today is something that was very special to me. My good friend Deb, who I often refer to as my "evil twin" (she is not really evil, but don't get our minds going at the same time...it is dangerous!) asked me to help her create a casket spray for her mother's casket. So on Friday night we got to work! It was a very special time listening to stories about Deb's mother and creating something we knew she would love.

For Valentine's Day someone asked me about doing an arrangement for her husband that looked manly! I always like a challenge. She brought me the ceramic container so I found some orchids in burgundy that I thought fit the bill. My husband basically wears only 4 colors, burgundy being one of his mainstays. These orchids would be gorgeous in a bridal bouquet with the Star Gazer lilies!

For a park wedding I did this fence arrangement.

This is a church arrangement for a May wedding.

These Bridesmaids' bouquets were for an October wedding where the bridesmaids were wearing different shades of purples and plums.

This church arrangement was for the same wedding as the previous bouquets.

The next arrangement was done with dendrobian orchids for a country club reception.

This bride wanted only red flowers for her wedding. I think they were NCSU fans!

All white wedding flowers.

I added flowers to this cake. This was a fall wedding so we were taking advantage of the fall color palette.
